AI & Call Recording Policy

How the AI works
Sale Buddy sends call audio to an AI speech model to create a transcript, then a large language model reviews the transcript and produces a score, coaching tips, suggested wording, objection handling notes, cross-sell ideas and possible compliance flags.
Limits you should know
- AI can mishear words, mix up speakers, and make mistakes or confident-sounding errors.
- Scores are coaching guides, not performance ratings for employment decisions on their own. Always review the call before acting on a score.
- Compliance flags are not legal review. They may miss problems or flag things that are fine. Follow your carrier's and your state's rules.
- Suggested wording should be checked against your approved scripts and licensing rules before use.
Recording consent
California and several other states are "two-party" (all-party) consent states. Before recording, uploading or live-coaching a call, make sure every person on the call knows it is being recorded and analyzed, for example:
"This call may be recorded and reviewed for quality and training purposes."
Agencies are responsible for giving this notice and keeping any consent records required by law. Do not use live coaching on calls where consent has not been given.
Sensitive information
Avoid reading full card numbers, bank account numbers or Social Security numbers aloud on calls you analyze. If they are captured, delete the call from Sale Buddy.
Your data and model training
Your recordings and transcripts are used only to provide your coaching. They are not sold and are not used to train third-party AI models.
